The abolition of the statutory dispute resolution procedures

The government's attempt to cut the number of employment tribunal applications by introducing the statutory dispute resolution procedures has been accepted by all as a failure, and the Employment Bill making its way through parliament will repeal the procedures, replacing them with a "lighter touch" regime based on a new Acas code of practice.
