Armed Forces Redundancy Scheme 2006 and the Armed Forces Redundancy, etc Schemes 2010 (Amendment) Order 2011 comes into force

The order makes changes to the Armed Forces Redundancy Scheme 2006 and the Armed Forces Redundancy Scheme 2010. Amendments include enabling compensation to be offered to certain officers when they take early retirement and taking into account paid additional paternity leave when calculating compensation. The order also amends the Armed Forces Gratuity Earnings Scheme 2010. The order can be viewed on the UK legislation website.
