Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2006 come into force

The Regulations consolidate the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 1994 and the Construction (Health Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1996 into one set of Regulations. They clarify health and safety obligations in construction, including restructuring the requirements so that they are grouped according to categories of duty holder. The Regulations can be viewed on the Health and Safety Executive website.
