Control of Noise at Work Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006 come into force
Implementation date: 6 April 2006
The Regulations protect employees
from excessive noise in the workplace. They implement the EU Physical Agents
(Noise) Directive which aims to protect workers from risks to their health
arising from exposure to noise. The Regulations can be
viewed on the OPSI website.
