Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (Amendment) Regulations 2003 come into force
Implementation date: 24 September 2004
The Regulations amend the burden of proof in
disability discrimination cases; remove the defence of justification for an
employer's failure to make reasonable adjustments; and abolish the exemption for
employers with fewer than 15 employees. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI
website.
