Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999 (Blacklists) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014 come into force

Implementation date: 6 April 2014

The Regulations prohibit the compilation, use, sale and supply of blacklists containing details of trade union members and activists, where the purpose of the list is to discriminate against workers on grounds of trade union membership or activities, and grant rights to individuals to complain to the industrial tribunal where an employer is in breach.
