Equality Act 2010 (Guidance on the Definition of Disability) Appointed Day Order 2011 comes into force
Implementation date: 1 May 2011
The Order brings into force guidance, issued by the Office for Disability Issues, on matters to be taken into account in determining questions relating to the definition of disability. It replaces previous guidance issued in 2006. It provides guidance for employers when considering whether or not a person has a disability under the Equality Act 2010.
