Industrial Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2005 come into force

The Regulations modernise and streamline practices in industrial tribunals in Northern Ireland. They promote early settlement of cases through the Labour Relations Agency or, where this avenue fails, speed up the passage of cases through the tribunal system. The Regulations also set out new procedural rules concerning equal value claims. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
