Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) (Amendment) Regulations 2011 come into force

The Regulations amend the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000/1059), which set out measures for protecting individuals against ionising radiation in relation to medical exposure, including during occupational health surveillance. The Regulations prescribe that individual health assessments of asymptomatic individuals come within reg.3 of the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2000.
