Large and Medium-sized Companies and Groups (Accounts and Reports) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 come into force

Implementation date: 1 October 2013

The Regulations substitute sch.8 to the Large and Medium-sized Companies and Groups (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 (SI 2008/410), which specifies the information to be included in the directors' remuneration report under s.420 of the Companies Act 2006, with a new schedule. The Regulations require the directors' remuneration report to contain information about directors' remuneration in the relevant financial year, including a requirement that companies disclose the amount that each director has been paid as a single figure, taking into account all elements of remuneration; and to explain the directors' performance. They also set out the minimum requirements for disclosure of the directors' remuneration policy. The Regulations can be viewed on the UK legislation website.
