Legislation allowing trade union learning representatives in Northern Ireland time off to carry out duties comes into force

The Employment (Northern Ireland) Order, article 31 introduces a new statutory right to time off for trade union learning representatives to ensure that they are adequately trained to carry out their duties. Article 31 can be viewed on the OPSI website.
