National Minimum Wage (Increase in Development Rate for Young Workers) Regulations 2000 come into force

The Regulations increase the minimum hourly rate of the national minimum wage applying to young workers aged between 18 and 21 from £3.00 to £3.20. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
