Police (Complaints and Misconduct) (Old Cases) Regulations 2013 come into force

The Regulations ensure that the Independent Police Complaints Commission can effectively investigate historic complaints and other matters relating to police misconduct, by giving effect to the powers inserted into the Police Reform Act 2002 by the Police (Complaints and Conduct) Act 2012.
