Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 (Prescribed Purposes for Consideration of Suitability) Regulations 2010 come into force

The Regulations prescribe that references in part 2 of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 to considering an individual's suitability for regulated work include considering an individual's suitability to be a member of a committee appointed by the Scottish Social Services Council in certain circumstances and considering an individual's suitability to do work outside the United Kingdom that, if done in Scotland, would be a regulated activity.
