Quality Contracts Schemes (Pension Protection) Regulations 2009 come into force
Implementation date: 11 January 2010
The Regulations make provision about pension protection provided to certain employees of bus operators who transfer to a new employer under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/246) following the making of a quality contracts scheme. In England, the Regulations come into force on 11 January 2010. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
