Right to make a request in relation to study and training not extended

Implementation date: 6 April 2011

The Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (Commencement No.2 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) Order 2010 (Amendment) Order 2011 (SI 2011/882) prescribes that the statutory right to make a request in relation to study and training will not be brought into force for employees in businesses with fewer than 250 employees. It amends the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009 (Commencement No.2 and Transitional and Saving Provisions) Order 2010 (SI 2010/303).
