Social Security (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010 come into force

Implementation date: 25 January 2010

The Regulations abolish urgent case payments that allow a reduced amount of benefit to be paid to those whose income is temporarily interrupted. The Regulations remove the provision that allows disabled workers in full-time employment access to income support or jobseeker’s allowance. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
