Taxation of Pension Schemes (Transitional Provisions) (Amendment) (No.2) Order 2011 comes into force

Implementation date: 11 August 2011

The Order amends the Taxation of Pension Schemes (Transitional Provisions) Order 2006 (SI 2006/572). The amendments are made pursuant to the removal of the need to take an annuity by the age of 75, and the reduction of the amount of tax relief that an individual can receive on his or her pension savings, under the Finance Act 2004.
