Working Time (Amendment) Regulations 2001 come into force
Implementation date: 25 October 2001
The Regulations amend the Working Time
Regulations 1998 to provide that the amount of leave to which a worker is
entitled in a leave year is four weeks, except in the case where a worker's
employment begins after the start of a leave year. The Regulations also revoke
the provisions that limit entitlement to annual leave to workers who have been
continuously employed for thirteen weeks. The Regulations can be viewed on the OPSI website.
