Use this workflow to deal with the legal and practical issues that arise when one of your employees is summoned to attend jury service.

The employer may decide to ask the employee to apply for a deferral of, or excusal from, the jury service for a work-related reason. Although only the employee can apply for this, the employer may write a letter in support of the application.
