When to use this model outside business interest contract clause

Where necessary use this model contract clause in an employment contract to restrict an employee's taking on of other jobs or outside interests. The paragraph allowing the employee to hold shares in another organisation may be used either to permit minority shareholdings only or to allow any shareholdings in public companies.
