Accommodating religious observance - dietary restrictions

In order to comply with the requirements of the Equality Act 2010, employers should, whenever reasonably practicable, take the dietary requirements of their workforce into account when arranging, for example, canteen or food storage facilities and social events. Some of the potential dietary restrictions of commonly practised religions and beliefs in the UK are listed below1.
