The XpertHR Voluntary Sector salary survey covers charity staff pay from directors through head office roles to frontline staff. The survey provides salary tables for all job functions by seniority, with detailed refinements to produce data based on an employee's location, the type of charity, and size of charity to enable employers to benchmark against comparable organisations. There is also separate pay data on in-house fundraisers. Data drawn from XpertHR's wider salary surveys programme is used to report on comparisons between voluntary sector and private sector pay for similar roles. The survey also provides a full analysis of labour turnover and pay movements over the year based on matched samples of individual employees. The current data was published in October 2016.
