This summary report of our XpertHR survey on using digital media for recruitment finds that employers' main use of job boards is to advertise vacancies and drive applicants to either their own websites or to the HR department. Respondents are positive about the benefits of using job boards, particularly in increasing their reach to a wider field of potential candidates, although HR practitioners' recruitment workload has not reduced as a result of using commercial recruitment sites.
