XpertHR sick pay survey 2010: rates and qualifying periods

Our survey of policy and practice among 160 employers includes access to sick pay, service-related entitlement and what happens when the time limit on payments expires.

  • Almost three-quarters of surveyed organisations operate a single sick pay scheme covering all employees, with slightly more than one-fifth running two separate schemes.
