Night workers aged 18 and over cannot be required to work more than an average of eight hours daily. There is stricter regulation where the night work involves special hazards or heavy physical or mental strain.
In general, young workers under the age of 18 cannot work between 10pm and 6am or, if their contract requires them to work after 10pm, between 11pm and 7am.
Employers have obligations towards night workers regarding free health assessments.
