    The Regulations introduce a single limit for working with asbestos, require specific training for those working with it, and provide a clearer set of controls that should be used for reducing exposure. They consolidate and replace the current laws on exposure to asbestos, which are contained in the Asbestos (Licensing) Regulations 1983, Asbestos (Prohibitions) Regulations 1992 and Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002.
