The Freedom of Information Act 2000 allows individuals to submit requests for the disclosure of information held by public bodies, unless those organisations can show that the information requested is exempt from disclosure.
The order removes certain credit-broking activities from the scope of regulation under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, so that people undertaking those activities will not need to be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.
The Regulations substitute sch.8 to the Large and Medium-sized Companies and Groups (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 (SI 2008/410), which specifies the information to be included in the directors' remuneration report under s.420 of the Companies Act 2006, with a new schedule.
