Scenario

The employer is involved in the catering industry and has been in existence for 30 years. It has a permanent workforce of 25 full-time employees who are contracted to work in excess of 75 hours per month and 35 part-time employees. Of the part-time employees, 11 are contracted to work 25 hours per week, while the remaining 24 are contracted to work 75 hours or fewer per month.

On 6 April 2015 the employer received an employee request to negotiate an information and consultation agreement.
