Scenario

The employer is involved in the cleaning contracts industry and has been in existence for 23 years. It has a permanent workforce of 25 full-time employees who are contracted to work in excess of 75 hours per month and 44 part-time employees who are contracted to work 75 or fewer hours per month. In addition the employer contracts with a national employment agency and engages 100 workers on a regular basis.

On 6 April 2015 the employer received a request to negotiate an information and consultation agreement.
