Podcast: October 2015 legal changes
On this week's XpertHR Weekly, we discuss the legal changes coming into force on 1 October 2015, namely: the new requirement on large employers to publish an anti-slavery and human trafficking statement; the extension of the exemption from wearing a safety helmet for Sikhs; increases to national minimum wage rates; a change to employment tribunal powers; and the extension of the ban on smoking in cars. We also discuss briefly the launch of the new Fit for Work service.
Presenter Susan Dennehy is joined by XpertHR's Susie Munro and Fiona Cuming. Edited and produced by Claire Scullin.
