Consultation on draft gender pay gap reporting regulations for large employers

The Government consults on the draft Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Information) Regulations 2016, which introduce mandatory gender pay gap reporting for employers in the private and voluntary sector with at least 250 employees. The Government will be issuing regulations for the public sector separately. The consultation asks whether or not any modifications should be made to the draft Regulations. The Regulations are expected to come into force on 1 October 2016, with the first reports to be published within 12 months of 30 April 2017.
