Employment law manual: New parental bereavement leave and pay sections
We have expanded the family-friendly chapter of the Employment law manual with new sections on parental bereavement leave and parental bereavement pay. The introduction of the new legislation will give qualifying bereaved parents of a child who dies on or after 6 April 2020 the statutory right to take up to two weeks' paid parental bereavement leave.
