New example profile of a mental health first-aider

XpertHR's Policies and documents tool has been enhanced with the addition of a sample profile of a mental health first-aider. The profile sets out the key skills required, tasks and responsibilities, and training requirements.

Mental health first-aiders are in place in one-third of organisations that responded to our recent survey on wellbeing initiatives in the workplace. Another quarter of respondents were planning to introduce mental health first-aiders in the 12 months following the survey, giving this initiative the potential to become the most popular health-focused programme in the future.
