New suite of model letters on compulsory COVID-19 vaccinations for care home staff

We have added new model letters for care home employers in England to use to comply with the requirement for staff working in care homes to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they have a medical exemption.

The Government has put in place temporary measures to allow care home staff to self-certify that they have a medical exemption. Medically exempt employees will be required to apply for a formal medical exemption through the NHS COVID Pass system, once the Government's formal medical exemption process is up and running.
