Updated good practice guide on gender
The good practice guide on gender has been updated to reflect recent research on gender equality and diversity and current practice on establishing a workplace that creates opportunities for all employees to reach their full potential. This will help employers that are looking to improve their gender diversity throughout the organisation, including those seeking initiatives to close their gender pay gap.
Amendments include:
- additional information on both vertical segregation and horizontal segregation;
- new guidance on dress codes;
- additional guidance on supporting employees experiencing domestic violence and abuse and supporting employees during the menopause; and
- up-to-date information on increasing female board representation; and talent management.
