Summary
- Schools with a "religious character" are permitted to take into account the religion of teachers in recruitment and dismissal decisions in certain rare circumstances. (See Occupational requirements)
- The officer with responsibility for the administration of a local authority's affairs must hold one of a number of prescribed qualifications. (See Prescribed qualifications)
- Where certain posts are to be advertised externally an authority is required to draw up a statement specifying the duties of the post and a person specification. (See Appointments to posts advertised externally)
