National Living Wage 2021: How the 2.2% pay increase in April 2021 for workers paid the national living wage compared with pay awards for other workers. The national living wage increased by 2.2% from £8.72 to £8.91 an hour from 1 April 2021. From the same date, the age threshold for entitlement to the national living wage rate reduced from 25 to 23.
