Summary

  • Discrimination in recruitment and selection is prohibited on grounds including sex, religion or belief, disability and age. (See Discrimination)
  • Employers must notify the public Employment Development Agency about all vacancies, at least three working days before advertising them by any other means. (See Advertising vacancies)
  • Employers must observe various rules when selecting employees, for example in terms of non-discrimination, data protection and pre-employment medical examinations. (See Selection)
