Workers who provided a "seamless" 24-hour service dealing with telephone calls from clients who required the services of "bank nurses" were, for the purposes of the National Minimum Wage Regulations 1999, "working" throughout the nightshifts when they took the calls at their homes, holds the Court of Appeal in British Nursing Association v Inland Revenue (National Minimum Wage Compliance Team).
