In Cobb and others v Secretary of State for Employment and Manpower Services Commission (5.4.89) EOR26B, the EAT upholds an industrial tribunal's decision that eligibility criteria for admission to the Community Programme were objectively justified within the meaning of s.1(1)(b) and s.3(1)(b) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975, notwithstanding that they had an adverse impact upon married women.
