Case
In Hannah v Motorola [1998] ET/1200787/98, an employment tribunal found that Mrs Hannah had been sexually discriminated against when her manager constantly referred to her as 'young lady' and to her maternity leave as holiday. Compensation for injury to feelings of £1,000 plus interest was awarded. Mrs Hannah was also found to have been unfairly dismissed after disciplinary proceedings were commenced without good reason.
