An unmarried teacher in a Roman Catholic school, who was dismissed when she became pregnant by a Catholic priest, was not discriminated against on grounds of sex because pregnancy per se was not the reason for her dismissal, rules a Bedford industrial tribunal (Chair: C Tribe) in O'Neill v (1) The Governors of St Thomas More RCVA Upper School and (2) Bedfordshire County Council.
