In R v Secretary of State for Employment ex parte Equal Opportunities Commission EOR41A, the Divisional Court finds that the qualifying thresholds in relation to the rights not to be unfairly dismissed, to compensation for unfair dismissal, and to a redundancy payment are justified under EEC sex discrimination law notwithstanding that they indirectly discriminate against women by excluding part-time workers.
