In Tarling v Wisdom Toothbrushes Ltd a Bury St Edmunds industrial tribunal (Chair: D R Crome) was in no doubt that an applicant had a disability and had been dismissed because of it. Although the company had "embarked on the perfectly proper and wholly laudable course of seeking advice", it failed to follow it through and make reasonable adjustments.
