Case
In Tejani v The Superintendent Registrar for the District of Peterborough (22.5.86) EOR9E, the Court of Appeal rules that less favourable treatment of any persons born outside Britain than of those who are British-born is not on the ground of "national origins" and is thus not prohibited by the Race Relations Act 1976. Although a case concerned with the provision of services, the decision has clear implications for employment discrimination law.
