Case
The European Court of Justice has handed down its rulings in six cases on issues relating to sex equality and occupational pension schemes in light of the decision in Barber v Guardian Royal Exchange Assurance Group EOR32A.
In Vroege v NCIV Instituut voor Volkshuisvesting BV (28 September 1994) EOR58B, the European Court of Justice rules that the right to join an occupational pension scheme falls within Article 119 of the EC Treaty and that there is no limitation in time on this right under Community law.
