In AEEU v Scottish Courage Brewing Ltd 8.1.96 CAC award no.96/1, the Central Arbitration Committee declares that an employer should disclose to representatives of a recognised trade union the names of union members who worked overtime and the number of hours each of them actually worked. There is a generally accepted and appropriate concern on the part of trade unions that overtime is properly and fairly spread over those willing to work it.
