Hughes v Springwood Leisure [2000] ET/1600823/99 (0 other reports)
A contractor which initially took action in support of a contract worker who was racially abused by a customer and then withdrew that support without justification, unlawfully discriminated on grounds of race, rules a Cardiff employment tribunal (Chair: R Davies) in Hughes v Springwood Leisure. "Contract workers," said the tribunal, "are entitled to the same protection as employees".
