Chequepoint (UK) Ltd v Radwan 15 September 2000 CA (0 other reports)

In Chequepoint (UK) Ltd v Radwan 15.9.00 Court of Appeal, the Court of Appeal upholds an employment tribunal's award of damages to a dismissed employee in respect of unpaid bonuses. The employee's contract of employment stated that the employer had an absolute discretion as to the payment of bonuses; however, the employee had been notified of the terms of the bonus scheme by his employer as provided for in the contract. As the employee had not subsequently received any notification that the scheme had been altered or withdrawn, he had remained entitled to payments under it.
